HellSpawne
I'm making a custom character using the template files available, but when I get in-game all I get is a mishmash of the samples that were provided, although I have made my own and placed them in the right places and everything Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/46963-help-custom-character/ Share on other sites
Annoying
Hi, I'm new too, but this could be a lot of things, so I'll throw out some cases that I can remember happening to me: - IF you are editing .tex files by hand there may be some misaligned texture(s), your description is vague, but you'll know that is the case if there is a minor misalignment in something like for example, the face and the head - IF you are exporting a character via Spriter your .scml file may be outdated - IF you are exporting a character via Spriter your autocompiler may be outdated (is the case if you're using the win32 version from Klei's github and didn't update it) - IF you are exporting a character via Spriter (last one I promise) your skeleton may be messed up, likely from accidentally editting it Also, add a picture, it could help some other people recognize the problem! I'll edit if I can remember anything else Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/46963-help-custom-character/#findComment-589469 Share on other sites

I recommend using the mod in the tutorial. tenabrae
Just watching that video tutorial... I assume that instead of using spriter etc. you could just dupe another character with the right body and draw over it's textures ?
