Riecon Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Bug Submission: Category: Client Crash Issue Title: dontstarve_steam.exe has stopped working Issue Description: When I run the game it shows the black window then a "dontstarve_steam.exe has stopped working" window. No other information is provided. I've tried installing the supplied copy of direct X as well as VCdist Steps to Reproduce: Any time the game is run. rezecib Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 @Riecon, The log file might help. It's in Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/log.txt. Although sometimes in hard crashes like that, it doesn't have a very helpful message, it'd still be more information.
