Will it persist after early access and will I and my friend be able to together after the beta ends(he does not own the original game, I do)? Will our games be compatible without him owning the original? I don't want to buy a 5$ demo for my friend or for myself (since I will get this for free, I can wait I suppose). While I believe this a little bit of a rip off to take advantage of the impatient, if I can get the game in full (multiplayer at least) for 5$ it is a very good deal. Too good of game to not share, but I find this odd.
