JimThePea
I always thought it was an unwritten rule of the game that guards wouldn't patrol into your starting room, first turn I started in a small room with two doors, one locked and one leading to a room with a couple of guards in it, a little tricky but no problem, I decided to wait a turn, on the guard turn a guard I couldn't have seen comes into the guarded room and straight into the starting room my agents are in, spotting them. Kind of annoying. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/46092-guards-patrolling-into-starting-rooms/ Share on other sites
wwarnick
I can't say that was intended by the developers or not, but it's fairly easy to work with in a small room like that (unless the guard has armor). It hasn't happened to me yet, but I'm in the habit of sending one agent to each door, peeking through it, and then ending the turn with each agent on overwatch. Of course, you can't always place someone by every door in a bigger room, but smaller rooms are usually okay. jimwinsor
Yeah this is a turn one issue you always have to be careful about, especially with large starting rooms with multiple doors. Anelyn
It's part of the game. You need to be careful from the get go with how you position your agents and how well you scout the room.
