mobius187 Posted December 16, 2012 Share Posted December 16, 2012 There are things that you can do with monster meat:1) Bait for hounds.2) Feeding it to pig men so they become loyal to you for a short time... and "helpful".3) Combining it with other foods in the crock pot to make new edible foods. Wirozah Posted December 16, 2012 Author Share Posted December 16, 2012 i dont have any food problems without using monster meat i have 2 chest full off them i have many farms im on day 213 atm pretty much discovered everything and with the new bird system to get seeds of that kind of vegtable you feed him seems monster meat become mainstream to use, and using it for baiting hounds is not a way to enjoy your day in dont starve in my opinion, feeding it to pigman seems to be nice but when you overuse it they will transform i wish the pig transform skin cud be based on this new character its just to mix the game around and making a real hardcore game style would be awesome, no offence but since im on day 213 i miss so much things to do i have done so much stuff its almost end game for me and going offtopic now please do more bioms and i know its early beta but if you need some really good ideas i can sketch stuff for you to make you find a path in my ideas and future ones for the community.Sincerly,Wirozah Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/4412-idea-new-character/#findComment-35163 Share on other sites More sharing options...

In fact... I know there's one character who is planned (but not released) that I'm almost sure will be able to eat monster meat without issue: Webber. Cuz he's a spider monster. Wirozah Posted December 17, 2012 Author Share Posted December 17, 2012 Yeah i made that suggestion before i knew what the devs had planned for 'webber'i hope your "Webber" character idea comes to live will be really amazing but it needs some fixing and balancing due the racial ability to tame spiders wich sud be a certain amount. Beside this adding this new character sud also give a "new house" for the spiders beside there own silk thingy just to identificate the spiders wich are yours and having them close to you, this is because putting a normal spider house will cause respawns of other spiders at night wich will be overpowerd if you get attacked by creatures... also when you tame a spider i think it sud have a mark on him or change his color just to see wich one is yours and wich arent (killing bees makes that identification also when they are angry they are red and when they are normal they are there own based color) i know this is off topic but i see future in "Webber" wich wos created by you (Prancelot) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/4412-idea-new-character/#findComment-35772 Share on other sites More sharing options...
