i bought dont starve and land of giants bundle when they first came out, but now the update is asking for a key. i didnt get a key when i bought and have not had or needed a key until recently, so how can i get this key

You may be asking for the CD Key, which as I can only help if you use Steam, go to your library and look at the Don't Starve file, then on the right of the screen you should see CD Key.
