Game loads at spot i was pas....t

i loaded the game at day 22 and i left for 15 minutes and came back and it froze i had to reload and i choped down all des trees cuz the tree monster ... (HOW DA F*%@*#*(@*$!@ do you kill dat $%#$&**) but any way i choped down all the trees cuz of that and i reloaded and all the trees are back and i didnt plant no trees by my base .. if u can give me some tips or w.e call my cell phone [i wouldn't post that if I were you] much appreciated. Thanks

The game saves at night and in the mornings so if it didn't get to those points before it froze then it wouldn't have saved.
