So please tell me the safest and best way to hatch it. And yes, is it good that i killed tallbird that was guarding the egg... becouse i dont know will it lay more eggs... 501105 Posted December 13, 2012 Share Posted December 13, 2012 Tallbirds will respawn, so you can always get more eggs without having to be afraid of them going extinct. Getting your egg to hatch can be tricky, since you need to keep it at a certain temperature. In the night you need to keep it closely near your campfire and in the day you need to put it on the ground away from the fire. Your egg is doing fine if it is blue and moving from left to right, if it is red and sweating, then it is too warm and if it is too cold it will become white.Does that help?
