Mac's trackpad functionality in Don't Starve (also Mark of the Ninja)

So I've noticed a while playng on the go, that Mac trackpad function kind of strange when I use it as primary input source, namely when I'm not klicking it but by touching (taping) on it (that is - one finger tap is a "click", two finger tap is "secondary click").

 

So the strange part is that it works like 30% of the time. Sometimes it does - sometime it does not. In Don't Starve all the time. In Mark of the Ninja only 'in game' enviroment (in menu 'touch/tap-to-click' works just fine).

 

The most important thing here is that the new generation Macbook Air's (I'm guessing after those and all other Mac branches) will lose the mechanical clicking (this is at the rumors level at the moment - but it is widely suported by analysts), which will leave people using those 'new kind of trackpad' unable to play.
