Tamazacat
So I think most of us agree that if you were playing and your teammate died, restarting the map to get them back would be a pain.As much as I like the idea of permadeath, in MP it doesn't quite work - it'd (for most of us) rip out the enjoyment of playing in MP.So I have a suggestion. When a teammate (teammate 1) dies (with no resurrection apparatus available) the other teammate (teammate 2) should be abLe to revive teammate 1 by collecting his skull and burying it, paying the price of lowing teammate 1's sanity to 30, while teammate 2's health damaged to 80.Something along those lines. If anyone has any thoughts, please voice them! Cheers,Tamazacat. Battal
I've seen this suggestion at least 5 times before. Please use the search feature to make sure an idea hasn't already been made. jbeetle
It works completely. You either have what you have now, or you have a system where you can revive constantly anytime a teammate dies. In that case, what's the point? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/36362-teammate-resurrection/#findComment-478695 Share on other sites
Tamazacat
Yikes. Many apologies. I hadn't set requirements for the search function so nothing showed. D'oh!Yeah. That's the problem with multiplayer games, though. It's all fine and dandy having permadeath in single player, as it's just you.I'm intrigued to see how Klei will handle this, to be honest.
