Dom-Sithe
Welcome to the forums!I believe the current statement from Devs is they weren't thinking of adding this. I forget the reasons offhand other then some worry over abuse. For example saving before getting into a big combat, and leaving game if it starts to look bad. I personally would never bother trying to game the system like that, but thats just me. I know there are a few people out there that would for sure (no judgement on them or anything, as I can see the reasoning, so, yeah). 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/3506-manual-save-button/#findComment-28355 Share on other sites

Skullman
Also if they want to abuse this it doesn't matter cause they are cheating there selves and it's no fun to cheat!(Well that's my opinion.) mobius187
Hey it's quite annoying when you need to leave in a rush but can't save your game until night/day so please add a manual save button in options While nothing has been confirmed by the Devs, other than the general dislike of save/load games, I believe that the best solution for this case was to have a quicksave, or "save on quit", option. This way you can quit the game whenever you like, but when you return it drops you right back in the same spot/situation.I believe the only reason this hasn't been implemented yet is because creature AI's apparently "forget" what they were doing after a re-load... so if you were fighting a beefalo and the game saved during the fight, if you re-load the game then the beefalo won't attack because I forgot it was upset with you. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/3506-manual-save-button/#findComment-28628 Share on other sites
