So, there you are, playing with your favorite character, having the best perks available for your own set goal. Be it Woodie's tree chopping skills or the manliness of Wilson's beard. Your doing fine on day 100. You have plenty of food, silk, Beefalo hats and ice cubes. Everything is going quite smoothly, excluding the frequent hounds that want your flesh.

That's mostly nothing to be concerned about.... but, then, you think you heard something. The sound was not familiar. It was probably nothing. Staying on a desolated island that may or may not be on Earth can do quite the number on the old mentality. There it is again, that sound. You can't make out that quiet yet piercing sound. The crows don't know what to make of that sound either..... but they heard that sound, just the same as you. You try not to think about it. But, then, the sound comes back. The sound was.... very unsettling this time. As the sound of crackling and breaking bones pierce your ears, all of the birds fly off. You don't see them anymore. The next days were a blur. You were a bit out of yourself. No birds, no rain, no sound, only the quiet crackle of dry leaves as fall arrives. You couldn't here the bones either. Dead silence.

After a week or so, the birds were back. Everything seemed as normal. You slowly started to forget about the crackling bones, since that sound was not present for quite some time now. The next weeks went past as smoothly as normal. You still had a unease in you, that ever so slowly grew. You felt like something was watching you. After that you found it hard to concentrate and every night you felt like something sharp was scraping you behind your neck. And then, you heard the bones again.

You wanted to do something to get your mind off of it. You figured since your low on wood, you might aswell get some pig friends and chop down some trees with you. The work was hard, but relaxing. That is, until, a small piece of paper dropped down from a tree. The pigmen didn't mind it and just went to the next tree. You picked it up. It was a small tag, having a crudely drawn face on it, the face had a big smile. During the night you heard the breaking of bones once more. The next morning, you noticed that that same tree had all of it's leaves plucked out aswell as having scratch marks all over the trunk. disturbing.

One of those tags appeared later that day, only this time it was left on the ground, having a small pebble holding it still. You thought you might aswell leave it be. Once dawn hit, you heard the bones crackling... aswell as a pigman screaming. You went to the source of the bones. The first reaction you had was to go to the smile tag. That was where you found a pigman's corpse, showing no outer damage besides the fact that his bones were all ripped apart. Bone shards were scattered around the body. Even though you were frightened to death, you still tried to scavenge as much from the pig as possible. A few pigskins is always good, no matter what the situation.

The next sighting of the smile tags was a few days later, again. It seems like this, whatever it is, doesn't really have a pattern. It just comes and goes as it pleases. That's the worst part, really. This time, the tag, was hanging from your pocket, just swinging right and left. That was just crossing the line now. How did it get there?! How?! You start up a small fire with a few twigs that you have and set the damn thing ablaze. This couldn't be good. Not even staying near the countless number of pigs that only wanted the jerky you had with you helped. If anything, it made you lose your mind even more, seeing as there was one less of them now. Starting up a larger fire when night hit, all you could really do was just stare into the utter darkness that was creeping all around you. Chester wasn't bothered about it though.

Then, you heard footsteps. They were very rugged footsteps. You tried to see, if anything was out there. No way you were going to leave your campfire. You couldn't see a thing. But, as time passed, you noticed, that the moon was not going to go anywhere. It was frozen at the very top of the sky. It was still very dark, but you could see a lot better now. You could even put out your campfire, if you were really insane.... Your vision started to shake. You had a real hard time focusing. There were footsteps again... Then you saw it.

And then??

I like where you're going but 2 weeks is a long time to wait for this thing to show up. Let's see what happens next tho.

I was honestly hoping that others could pinch in on what Mrs. Bones could offer, you know. :p But if you like where this is going, I'll continue writing stuff.
