Just started playing Don't Starve, I feel so new after looking around here.

Hey everyone,
 
Before a few days ago I had never heard of this game and I saw my brother playing it. Since I do let's plays I thought it's a great way to show off the game to other people. I came here to see what I can learn to keep up the excitement in my videos and I was surprised by what I found here.
 
I had no idea how rich this game is in lore, activities and ways of playing. Even this community is quite overwhelming as I spent a bit just lurking around reading what you guys talk about. 
 
With that said, I can see myself really getting into this. So here's my newbie attempt at playing this. I'm sure a lot of you experienced players will cringe at how much you could've done with the time that I spent. 
 
Also, I don't expect other players to exactly be my audience but I was delighted to find a place to even post videos here so it's the first place I went.

Welcome to the forums! Don't Starve is a very hard and challenging game I agree, but after getting the hang of it you do better each time. Since there is no end so far to the game, your goal is just to survive as long as possible. Either way, have fun playing.

Thanks for the kind words Warden. I have already recorded 2 more episodes that I am gonna put up there. I have been trying not to spoil stuff so I get to experience things as new so I haven't been able to find a place to post much here. Maybe as I get further into the game I can add to the community.
