MODs won't sync with steam subscriptions

Hi there!

The subscription system is complete ignoring my subscriptions.
Either subscribing or unsubscribing is ignored.
Any help, ideas, suggestions?

here the detailed story:

I have don't starve + DLC running since shortly.
Now I tried to subscribe to a few mods and I got them.
Then I tried to subscribe to a few more mods and I did not get them
(restarting the game, steam)
I did not get them
I unsubscribed all mods and I did not rid of the old one
(deleting the game, reinstalling )
I kept the old mods but have no subscription
(restarting the computer, game, steam)
I kept the old mods but have no subscription
(deleting all local mods files, restarting the game, steam)
I got the old mods back but have no subscription
WTH???
