Check your e-mail inbox for an email from "Humble", it should contain your steam key. You then need to open your steam, select from one of the top menus "Redeem or activate product" and enter the code from the email.

It should then install with your steam copy of Don't starve, and the DLC can be accessed by booting up Don't Starve once it's updated.
