More precise selection of things on the clock

I think, instead of the simple "Long Night", "Long Dusk", etc. thing, I think there should be a button. When you click on it, you see a large clock, and you can click on each individual section to change whether or not it is dusk, day, or night. Maybe have a selectable "(time) Painter". To use this, you click and hold on sections, so you can rapidly "paint" an area of a certain time instead of having to select each individual one.
