Ornie, the alien bird thing

  I've never really bothered to post anything I've made on the forums and kept mainly

to the Steam workshop mainly because i thought of the modding forums as a sort of 'elite playground'

reserved for the super-fancy mods made by modders with an incredible grasp on the coding

process. After reading the recent topic on community stagnation, however, I decided perhaps

that notion isn't the best for the DS community as a whole and that I perhaps shouldn't

go around exemplifying it. So, after that long introduction put there as a failsafe against

me looking like a fool, here's my not-particularly-fancy mod.

 

Special thanks to Squeek for helping me figure out some (a lot) of my coding errors.

 

 

  She's an OC of mine from a comic I've been messing around with casually on Deviantart.

I decided to make her into a Don't Starve character because I have nothing better to do and

live a largely pointless existence thought she would make for an interesting character to play as.

 

Down here is a picture which pretty much explains the stats 'cause I'm all formal and

dapper and wouldn't dare to just write a wall of text about it.

Yes, that's about it I suppose. Not terribly fancy, but still a bit more than "Dis is my sona he's like the Wilson man handsomer but with more hungers health and starts with the spear weapon very pointy." I'll just put a link to the workshop page since there's no pointuploading it again somewhere else (Although if you feel like transfering it to the downloads

section and giving credit that's fine with me)

Can/how often will it lay eggs.. and is it willing to eat its own eggs ?  Is it un-willing to eat tallbird eggs?  Can it build nests and/or hatch smallbirds faster than normal ?   IF s/he can make nests consider having it lose sanity extra fast at night unless near a nest?

Glad I did a good job on the.....introduction.

 

  She lays one egg once every 35 years. Since she's an alien, the egg must be laid within

the body of a host. The host is a large circle made out of twigs and straw suspended in a tree

branch. In order to unlock tree branches, you must beat adventure mode with Maxwell without

taking any damage whatsoever. You will then be confronted by the Rainbow Atheistic Unicorn

Bananaclops. Defeat all of his Dire Hamsters and then strike the eye repeatedly for massive

damage. This will unlock tree branches for the main game.

 

Disclaimer: If you've purchased the Reign of Giants DLC or happen to own exactly three hats in TF2, this method

only works on Monday.
