[Mod Request] Ice King/Simon Petrikov Character

Perhaps some of you are familiar with the Adventure Time television series?

Though porting a character from something like that might seem like a cheesy idea, I feel he would be a very interesting character to play in the DS universe.

 

He is an antiquarian who during his journeys stumbled across ancient, magical artifacts of extreme power, most notably a crown, which gives its wearer a command over ice and snow. However, this crown takes a large toll on the mind, even compromising Simon's humanity, eventually turning him into the Ice King.

 

He would start in his regular form, with below average health, the crown, and perhaps a slight innate dapperness. The crown has infinite durability, and wearing it allows the user to harness the power of cold (ice staff effect, or freezing hits, hopefully not too horribly overpowered) but incurs a heavy sanity drain, if sanity falls too low, it should be impossible to remove the crown until it is restored, which will be difficult.(assuming this is doable)

 

As his sanity gets lower, his skin turns blue, his hair turns white, he grows a beard, and his nose grows long and pointy. Along with the usual negative effects of sanity loss, some other additional negative effects could occur to counteract the benefit of the cold magic.(tons of painful coding, I imagine.)

This would be similar to Wolfgang's degeneration as he starves (though , I'm not familiar with modding, and it may be more complicated than that.)

 

As I have no modding experience, expecting someone to build this may be wishful thinking, but should anyone choose to make this,I believe it would make a nice mod.

If someone is willing to do the artwork, I can do the coding. That sounds extremely easy to code. It would just be on the opposite spectrum I am used to doing.

I love Simon! I'm not good enough at art or code just yet to be of use there, but I'd be willing to write script for him if this got picked up.

Perfect, I have no idea what he would say! I don't want to do the art because I'm not too familiar with his character, I just know that he goes insane and becomes the ice king. So this could be officially a collaboration if we could get an artist.

This is the "coolest" idea I have ever read! I hope you find a artist for this and make this happen! I wish I was good at drawing but I'm not

I don't know if this is possible but it would be awesome if you added "Marceline's Childhood" as his little companion! Because I saw in one of the Adventure Time episodes that Ice King(Simon) was trying to find some chicken soup for Little Marceline because they were friends 900 years ago or something like that. ( BTW I'm a big Adventure Time fan )
