Waterproof backpack

I'd love to see a waterproof backpack as a higher tier item. A backpack is a hugely essential tool, and a wet backpack is murder on the sanity. While having to plan to move about without the use of a backpack presents some interest challenges, I think it would be beneficial for players to be able to craft a waterproof version. Perhaps with drops from new boss or seasonal creatures, so getting a waterproof backpack presents a challenge in itself?

 

Unless the Krampus sack or piggyback already are waterproof, then seeking/making those would be the idea, I've had no opportunity to see if they are yet.

Yeah i was thinking maybe when the spring giant is introduced, maybe it could have some water proof item that you can use to craft water proof items that are fully water proof or if that is a bit too op maybe just takes alot longer to make it wet

Maybe a waterproof backpack with -2 slots OR that slows you down a bit (less than how the piggyback does).

I was thinking maybe you have to get Snurtle/Slurtle Slime from the caves and using it as a waterproofer. It will 'degrade' like food so you need to keep doing it to keep said items waterproof.

That's my idea for waterproofing.
