Hello everyone. As I am a real newbie with modding I'm asking your help.
 

I'm sure that you know it but food perish can be a problem for some people. So, someone invented the Infinite Food mod, but I find it reaaaaally op and game ruiner. That's why I wanted a moder to create new items for me: the Food Conservatives.

So basically, what is it? Well, I want to have an item that can restore some freshness to the food. For exemple, Low Conservatives could restore one day, Medium Conservatives 5 days, and Strong Conservatives 10 days to a whole stack of food. You'll have to craft it with, for the Low, nothing, the Medium, a Science Station, and for the Strong, an Alchemic Engine.

For the recipe? Well, I thought about:

Low Conservatives x1-> Rot x1, Stinger x1, and Red Cap x1.
Medium Conservatives x1: Manure x1, Hound Tooth x1 and Green Cap x1.
Strong Conservatives x1: Guano x1, Walrus Tusk x1, and Blue Cap x1.

Those items won't be so easy to create but will worth the ingredients.

So, what do you think about it? Is a modder ready to do it for me?

Nice idea ^^. Ok, so here is mod prototype . After activating in menu, type in console "DebugSpawn("conservatives")". At this moment Item have sewing tool ground image and no inventory image but you should see "100%" in inventory. It works basicly same as sewing tool, pick it and then click right mouse on spoiled meat. Meat should be fresh as new dropped. Almost forgot: this mod making orginal sewing tool unable to use. I will fix it and rest of bugs described above later if you like  my version of mod.

Allright, so. I used the c_spawn command to spawn the conservatives. It spawned, looking like a sewing kit, but it is actually impossible to right clic on spoiled food.

Oh i know why. Replace your "Actions" file with my version. It is in "scrips" folder (im sorry for that problems, as i said its prototype :grin:)

 

And if you want to see effect food should be spoiled. But it will work anyway. To see effect on spiled food you must pick it and put  back once too see updated spoil level.

I removed the old actions.lua files and used yours, But it's still not working. I try to use the conservatives on a spoiled morsel, put it on ground and taking it back, etc, but the character keeps saying that he can't do that.
