NikMik Posted January 29, 2014 Share Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) I was joking about the Australia I know people say mate some times, I doI live in 'Straya and where I live, the only people who say "mate" are the people who wear their pants down to their knees, either wear really puffy hoodies or just a sleeveless shirt, walk like their spines have collapsed backwards so they have the crotches WAY out in front of them, and only call people they don't like "Mate". They call people they DO like "c***s". And I've never seen a single person wearing one of those hats. I don't think they even sell them where I am. Everyone I know from Western/Northern 'Straya say mate somewhere in every sentence, though.
