PS4 - Killing Abigail and Chester

Recommended Posts

First off, love the game and controls on PS4.

What I'm seeing as a huge problem in PS4 is it is very easy to accidental kill Abigail when playing Wendy and any character can kill Chester (not as problematic since he takes more then one hit). The problem lies when you're trying to help them because they are ton of enemies (or sometimes just one on top of them), but when you attack you end up attacking them (even if it isn't your intent to do so) and killing them. This is especially so when you're playing Wendy because it takes one hit to kill Abigail. Making her very hard to use.

I feel like every time I summoned Abigail, I'm the one who kills her and don't even get a full day out of her. I don't know how much it is a problem on the computer. Based on different forums I've read it sounds like in Steam/Computer one you have to purposefully aim to attack her. I would like a similar mechanic for PS4. Like you have to hold down another button with the attack button or to attack Abigail (and Chester) it requires a different button then enemies.

Otherwise, as I seen others stated, It would be nice to be able to control type size in the game to make it easier to read, and perhaps icon menus size since they can be bigger and still not blocking the view..

Anywho thanks for the hard work, it is insanely fun and addicting game.

Good to see people are liking the game!

Also, as for not killing Abigail, don't go in to fight with her. She's more of like a cannon fodder, or the first line. And sometimes she's just used for chores you couldn't be bothered doing, like killing bee hives, drawing enemies away, etc.

HoneyHam,

I tried her out more the way you're talking about. I like her better, though I still find her a bit difficult to keep well around. Mainly due to tree guards. She seems to love picking a fight with them as I try to get them to forgive me by planting pinecones.

I'll eventually will come up with a solutions for that.

So thanks for the tips,

Anne Hijme.
