Creature Ideas for DLC (Or mods)

Recommended Posts

Alright, so, first off, let me explain this thread. I'm SURE you're SO confused because the title is SO misleading... Just being sarcastic. Anyway, here's a few ideas:

Worm

Basically, it pretends to be a wormhole, and when you click on it, it jumps up over your head, and swallows you, tunneling into the depths of the Earth just to come back up in a new hiding spot. There should be some sort of minor difference between it and real wormholes so eventually you can figure out which is which. Anyway, I'd give it a cooler name though. Also, the rows of teeth should rotate to make it look cooler. Only after it's too late though.

Terrasaur

It looks like a regular patch of land, until you step on it. They're actually neutral. Their backs are covered in grass or whatever terrain they're in. They will try to kill you if you stand on them. Also, they drop a patch of the terrain on their back, as well as a Dinosaur tooth, and some other special drop. They're extremely rare creatures.

Fire Serpent

It's basically a giant snake that's on fire. They jump out of lava pits into other lava pits. This would be great for a lava caves mod or DLC. They're pretty impossible to kill, and you need a special water blade to kill it. They drop snakeskin and a Flame Core. That's about it. Oh, and they're hostile.

I'll post more when I get around to it. You guys can post suggestions here too. If I think the admins should definitely see them, or modmakers should, I'll post it here and write "by (Insert Name Here)".

A whale! It would be cool if every now and then a whale surfaced in the ocean and you can craft a harpoon and kill it. It should drop loads of meat, teeth and blubber which is extreamly good for lanterns and fires.

A type of lion that prowls the Savannah biome and preys on the beefalo (it would be a good way of keeping the beefalo population in check because they have no natural predators at the moment)

I really cool thing would be a giant bee hive surrounded by normal ones and inside the huge bee hive would be a queen bee. It would be a lot like the spider queen and would drop a queen bee hat that does a similar thing as the spider queen hat, it would make it possible to navigate through the killer bee hive fields. The giant hive should drop loads of honey and honey combs.

(Checks and sees was moved to Suggestions/Feedback)

You can't suggest a new drop item without saying what that item is for.

And I hope you like modding/have modding friends, because the game's done (besides a very small chance of a occasional rare free update and one last paid downloadable optional content started work on in November.)
