OCC incoming (Haven't been accepted yet but might aswell claim an occ right?) Maxwell traditionally advises you at the beginning of a don't starve game so I was trying to make a reference to that and with no evidence to prove Maxwell is an enemy and the fact that he is helping you with advice would make you assume that he would be a "friend"

(Yeah, but those rules don't apply in the roleplay. I'm not saying that Max is definitely an enemy... But I'm not saying he's definitely an ally either. Your accepted if you let me get rid of that bit of the backstory.)

 Well since I have been officially selected (ooc) I would love some backstory mainly on the big parts and recent events. I would love to read through 56 pages of text but... Well anyway yeah just would love some filling in.

(Fill in... Okay.

The group (Barry, Lily, her pokemon Warboy (Wartortle), Oxyklne, and Daniel gathered and set up camp. A few days in, some shadowy assassin thieves tried to kill them. When the assassins died, there was a dark rift where their bodies would have been. Oxyklne entered the rip and found a dark world with screams and pain (The Nether), and saw a light. He grabbed the light and got out. He came out with a small light in a bottle, and the rip remained. The darkness began flowing out of the rip, and the group ran away.

They found a sinkhole with a note inviting them in. Lily's pokemon evolved into a blastoise in a battle against some cave spiders. After an infinite puzzle, they found a Latin speaking living doll whom they later named Petal. They arrived at a large cavern with a tall and dapper man wearing a suit with spiked shoulders, a large, crooked nose, trapped in a shadow cage. That man called himself J. J told the group that they had unleashed a Shadow Shard when removing the soul from the rip, and the shadows would continue growing. He also said that the light was the soul of an Ancient. Oxyklne ingested the soul, and the Ancient, who Oxyklne named Frank, dwelled in his mind and gave him light powers and advice and such.

With his new powers, Oxyklne used a shadow/light beam to break J's cage. They fled the cave and traveled a few days to a place called The Grove. J said it would be a safe haven. They entered to find that The Grove was populated with Dryads. Thanks to J's mysterious past, he managed to convince the Grandmaster (leader of the Dryads in the Grove) to allow them to stay. The rest of the group rested at a rundown house, until Barry accidentally transformed Oxyklne into a rabbit and himself into a fish. There was some confusion for a bit, until Oxyklne somehow managed to remove the hex from himself. A dryad named Telumi, who is the Grove Keeper, entered the rundown house, claiming that it was hers. She went to the Grandmaster who told her to lay off, because they were in J's debt for some unknown reason. And now, Barry the fish is trying to make himself human again, while J talks to Telumi about why they've come.)

 Well tell me when you guys are ready to start. Assuming we need more players.

(What...? We've been starting for about 55 pages now... Not sure if you can introduce your character yet though...

Barry simply grows, but his fish skin slowly becomes human skin.
