[Battal]

"Tendrils of Strength" burst out from Oxryklne, who is now glowing dark purple with fury.  The tendrils wrap around each other, forming thick hands.  They grab onto J's head and tear it in half straight down the middle.

[Rabbitfist]

Prim appears behind the other people

[Battal]

Oxryklne spins around to Prim, quickly dropping the two halves of J's face and disintegrating the tendrils.

 

<Oh, hi.  Didn't see you there.>

[Battal]

(DAMNIT BLEW, YOU LEAVE RIGHT WHEN I TEAR SOMEONE"S FACE IN HALF)

(Is it a perfect cleave or an irregular line of ripped tissue?)

[Battal]

(Whadda you think.)

Shadows fizz around J's torn corpse, and a stone like pillar rises out of it. It is chiseled away until it resembles a human body, and darkness consumes the statue once more. When the shadows dissipate, J is standing there, his grin wide as ever.

That all you got?

Oxryklne seethes with rage.  He peppers J's body with tiny holes, blasting it away until a few scraps of bloody flesh remain.

The same process repeats, but it is no less eerie.

Listen, pal, you can't go against Their will. They're everywhere and everything. What They want happens, no questions asked.

Oxryklne violently explodes, blowing a small crater in the floor.

Name: Victor

 

Age: 22

 

Abilities:

 

Pros:

Lover of the Night. Victor always prefers night. But in DS world he has one problem. Charlie. Still she doesn't kill him. After night capture, he'll wake up in a morning. He would be hurt pretty hard. But most interesting part he would be in pretty good mood. And he know night monster's name for some reason…

Powerful ally. If someone has attacked Victor in the darkness (every light source destroys entire effect), darkness helping him in the fight (and don't capture him until fight is over).

 

Cons:

Night’s Reminder. If Victor wasn't captured for several days, night is begin to remind about itself. Second day reminder is dark hands start extinguish campfire. Third day - monsters appear near the camp. Fourth - they attack.

 

 

Appearance:   Man about 6.1 tall(183cm, am I right?) with dark brown hair and almond-shaped eyes. Also he has a scar on his cheek. Reason of that is bad experience with his first self-made razor. He wears dark jeans and a ragged unbuttoned blue jacket under which you can see a gray t-shirt. Also he wears black, but dirty shoes.

 

Backstory: Young man was really normal one. He had normal live and his precious family, girl, even work, which is not important in this story, but he loved his live.  Reason he had appear in this world is his younger sister.  One day she just disappears. She always was “pain in ass” girl. I mean she had been looking for troubles for whole her live. But she never would run away or something like this. And certainly he was looking for her. It's probably would end nothing, but in evening he met tall man in black costume. “Would you like see your sister?” This sentence made Victor attack him and in a moment black costume was pinned to the wall. “F***** *astard, where is she? Show me right now!” Man smiled and said “Oh, I defiantly will”. And easily pushed Victor. But when young man made step behind he just start falling into the void.

*Oh yeah… They were speaking on another language. Or just Victor understands him and just don't thought about it in this moment.*

He woke up on one of the Islands. His head was hurt. And he heard voice of man in black costume. “It's bit late, but you will find her, if you lucky”. After that he heard something like “poof”, man had disappeared.  He found out that night was near, last sun rays playing with the sky. He could see someone's figure in kilometer from him. He running to the figure, but night had come faster. He could see her. That was his sister sitting right by fireplace. He cried out her name. She heard and turned in his direction. But she did not see him in the darkness. And he could not scream any more. Thousands hands had grabbed him… They were pretty weak and soft, but anyway he couldn't do anything…

He woke up in the morning. His head was hurt again, just like someone had hit him by using something heavy. He didn't remember that night, but his mind was working in a strange way. He was pretty enjoyed by something. He only remembers strange figure, woman or girl for sure. And strange and nice voice: “My name is Charlie. What is yours?”.

His sister had disappeared, and he starts his search. He wants return home for sure, but he'll do everything to find his sister. It's for awhile already.

As you probably can see I'm not good in English. So… Victor have same issue.

(Okay, I like that bio a lot. It would probably be accepted pretty quickly if this roleplay hadn't deviated from the path. But it did, so there are some flaws in the backstory. Here's the rundown:

They became tired of Their "game", and after sending our mismatched band of heroes into a horrifying void of eternal screaming and pain, They pretty much drove everywhere into an apocalyptic state. They combined a few worlds, such as Earth and the Islands, and the result was a world that was pretty much all castle ruins with eternal night, no moon, and an incredibly hostile and shadowy environment. It's been that way for some million years. Then our heroes woke up, and found an underground base. I'd assume your character is in the underground base? Or, considering his ability, it is possible that he's simply running around on the surface, and stumbles across the base? That part's up to you.

Also, Charlie and Maxwell are MIA. Don't know if I'll bring them in or not, but Charlie won't appear.)

Name:  Victor's Shadow. “double V”

 

Age: few days or weeks

 

Abilities:

 

Pros & Cons:

Shadow of Human. When you see Victor in the light, you can see human. And you can hurt him using normal weapon or arms; even kill him in fair fight. But in the darkness he transfers into some kind of ghost. He can’t hurt anyone material. That works in both directions. But he still can fight with shadows, and begin to move more quickly then before. And, of course, “fly” for short distance. Still wall is problem for him. He can’t interact with objects, and make fire without someone’s help. But he can speak.

 

Anomaly. When Victor stays in darkness form, he gets more damage from shadows. But in material form, if he attacks shadow, his strikes get much stronger. (So if Victor was brave, shadow one prefer to flee)

 

Backstory update: There is no information what happened to Victor, maybe he even had escaped from this world with his sister. (How naïve…) But when real Victor became MIA, Victor's Shadow appears. He doesn't remember anything from his human adventure story. It's duplicate who only remember his original story including his appear day.  So he still try to find his sister, but metamorphose happened to him scared Victor. And for some reason that Victor prefer when people call him “double V”. Reason of that his last name. It starts with V too. And probably Shadow Victor understands that he isn't real one.

Soon some events changed the world. And live of double V had been getting harder every day from moment world stopped in apocalyptic state. He became weak, scared and full of hate to himself. That's not Victor anymore.

(You were supposed to travel through the Valley of Desperation, to reach the Caverns of Endless Decay.  There, you would have had to fight the Skeletal Dragon of Annihilation, and bring him to the highest peak of the Corn Mountain.  You were then supposed to cut its throat with you bare hands and pull the fact that "I was joking" out of its windpipe.  But I suppose me just telling you that is okay too.)

 

Oxryklne climbs out of the crater, his body glowing white with fury.  Finally realizing he can't kill J, the glow fades back to the beetle's normal color.

 

<I'll figure it out someday.>  He grumbles before flying back up the stairwell.

(I start to understand what is happening. Question about light still open. And two more, please, no offense if i start with one sentence on Russian*I'll add translate or even repeat this one*. And can i add night vision in the ghost form?)

 

Black ghost of human being was running away from shadows. This whole picture stays unseen for human eyes. But ghost can see thousand of shadows, and every shadow want to destroy him.

Before apocalyptic events he could just wait until morning and give them a fight or create fire, but now he don't have a chance. Horrible situation, especially if you don't want to die.

"Finally"(that's translate) Ghost found some underground structure. Maybe it have some light inside? Or maybe even someone inside? Victor didn't see human beings for awhile. He needs it, right now.

(The base is pretty much a big hallway with a bunch of doors on either side, each one leading to a room or stairway. Right now they're in the prison. The lights are generic lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling. J is William Carter's brother, Jack Carter, which is cannon. Anything else?)

J's grin weakened. Please do... He turned around and faced the wall again, and the pain resumed. The horrifying, unbearable pain. He couldn't help but moan.

Without hesitation Double V run downstairs to the hall. He was so happy to see light. He became human, just in a moment, when light touch his body.
After that he just set down under first lightbulb. He was laughing for two seconds. But soon he heard a sound, behind one of doors.
He stands up and run to it. May be its animal, but they became weaker. So he probably can handle one himself, or even lure them to the surface.
“Эй, тут кто есть?” But in a moment he realize "Charlie used English", and repeat “Is someone here?” But he don't enter prison room.
