Barry's song reaches Oxryklne, giving him a boost of speed as he flees Daniel.

[Percival]

Petal looks away, but replies.

 

"Thinking will turn you into pure Vitae. You are half blood, half vitae."

 

Petal drops Oxryklne down.

 

"Darkness is purified and empowered in Vitae."

[Battal]

<Wha the fgurgle does that mean?>  Oxryklen says, dissolving somewhat.

[Percival]

"Try using powers."

 

Petal stares at Oxryklne for a few seconds, but instantly looks away, as the beetle feels even more liquified.

 

(You are still in a semi-solid form. Just imagine that, if I were to pick up a similar substance, it would fall between my fingers slowly,  but if it were on the floor, it would be like a spherical shape.)

Oxryklne sends another wave of shadow at Daniel.

In the meantime, Petal creates a counter-curse symbol if Oxryklne is accidentally turned into purified Vitae.

"Okay, its time to ttack!"

*His greatsword transforms into a longsword* (because it would be a bit OP against Daniel)

(You did something brilliant inadvertently @DaverGamer. Evil_Daniel may be able to deflect the shadows, but not the Vitae infused in it. For some reason, despite being made of darkness, Vitae is harmful to shadow beings or The Umbra.)

[Percival]

(I feel impatient. Double post.)

 

Petal draws another Thaumaturgic Triangle, transmuting the nearest rubbish piles into sharpened metal and rock.

The doll then proceeds to draw symbols. A loop with the ends curling off, an Omega sign with a line through it, and a triangle with a dot are some of the signs among them.

 

(Damblit. This ritual takes a while to perform...)

(@DaverGamer Hurry up or else I will use a shadow warding ritual.)

[Battal]

Oxryklne runs along, firing bolts of shadow at Evil_Daniel.

[Blewcheese]

(Daver has decided to quit. Again. So, I'll be taking it from here.)

Daniel snarls, and disappears. A moment later, he reappears behind Oxyklne, and swings his scythe.

[Battal]

Oxryklne dodges, and blasts Daniel point blank.

[Blewcheese]

Daniel snarls, launched back. He's clearly damaged now, but much angrier. His eyes glow a blood red as he raises his scythe to the air. It dissipates, but is replaced by raining shadow knives.

[Percival]

Petal, now finished with the symbol, places it's palms on each smaller carving in turn. After making a complete cycle, the symbol glows, and the nearby rocks begin to gently, just subtly, float, the surfaces waving and boiling.

[Battal]

Oxryklne dodges the knifes for the most part, but one of them slices him pretty badly.
 

<Gyaah!>

[Blewcheese]

Barry can't move. However, he's nearing the end of the song. After a knife to the arm, Barry manages to cease the tune and takes cover under his instrument. Most of the strings are severed, but Barry remains intact. The knives soon stop raining, and Daniel draws two large, shadowy blades.

<Aghhhhhh!>

 

Oxryklne tries to crawl out of the way of Daniel.

(I wonder what ritual with the same symbol would work...)

 

"Volito!"

 

The shards of rocks begin to rush at Evil_Daniel, trying to parry and stab in midair. There are unusual colored gems imbedded in the shards.

 

(Bonus points to whoever figures out what the gems are.)
