How about a big desert for me to die in? Or starve? And a Camel for me to ride on to move faster.

Ah... new biomes. A topic I love to discuss. :)

The desert biome was mentioned before by several other users, so you'll be happy to know it's a fairly popular idea. In fact, I also support the idea, I mean who wouldn't want to have more biomes to traverse? I'm not sure about the camel, but that's mainly because in past suggestions I've backed using tallbirds as mounts. After all, we can steal their eggs and maybe one day do more than just eat them.

And a tent that you can sleep in.

You're in luck, we already have a tent. :)

And a farm full of pet guinea pigs!

Interesting... but all my invention ideas (i.e. animal powered) usually involve rabbits.

Perhaps a modest canoe. Bigger lakes! And I am done.

Boats and rafts have been discussed, and are still discussed. Although I can't say anyone has suggested a canoe before, but then most of the boat-related ideas involve crossing the uncrossible sea between the islands (should the land bridges eventually be removed). I agree however about the ponds being too small... I would like to see something more the size of a small lake.

Keep on posting suggestion! The Devs are reading them... ;)

adding more biomes is a great idea but how big can the don't starve worlds get? would be kinda pointless to have 5 new biomes if you search the whole thing in 5 seconds

The map size is not an issue. Don't get me wrong, the map will never be endless, like Minecraft, but it can be much larger. What it really comes down to is content. Klei only wants to increase the size of the maps (i.e. more land and islands) once they have enough new content to fill the world. Obviously new biomes would need new content, so the whole package wouldn't be small update. So for now we'll just keep making suggestions and see which ones the Devs prefer.
