MrCRAZYbox Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 I'm relatively new to modding Don't Starve, so please go easy on me. I have made a simple mod (as of now ;P) that adds in a new item into the game. However, one annoying thing that I'm running into is whenever I drop my item onto the ground, it simply disappears. My item works as intended while it is in my inventory and no error messages show up when I drop it. I have checked countless item classes to see if I had done anything wrong, but they seem nearly identical to my file. This makes it extremely difficult to figure out what I have done wrong. If anyone has a possible solution to this problem, PLEASE share it with me! Most likely your build name is wrong or you're not playing the idle animation. The easiest way to get help is to upload your mod to the forums . Rosten Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 Well, i just removed the part in the modmain.lua where it was giving the character the item on spawn, but when i tried to debugspawn it, the game does something really odd, then crashes, well, i've got 2 hours, lets have a go at this shall we?
