ddan24
I thought of another idea I don't know if its a good one but I thought of adding a book to the game that you can craft. It will hold recipes for the crock pot! I find myself always going to the wiki to make sure i am not wasting any ingredients making meatballs, waffles, dragon fruit pies, etc. it can be a book that you flip through providing just simple text or maybe even pics for crock pot recipes. I don't know maybe even add other valuable info for the game. I'm sure there's other info you can put in the book, don't starve is a massive complex game if you dig into it

Rosten
This actually seems sort of do-able, looking at the preview pics from the waverly mod, it seems they implemented something similar to this with the spelltome, granted, i haven't seen it in-game, (since i never find ANYTHING with characters i need to find setpieces, ill find the chess biome with everyone but Wx78, and ill find waverlys tree with everyone BUT waverly) Anyways, when im back on my computer (maybe tommarow) ill muck around with it and see if i can come up with anything, no promises though :/ Edit - This would be kind of neat, especially if it recorded the recipes as you learned them (made them at least once).Don't you mean it would be kind of.... meat! bad-um-tshhhBad puns! All things you'll need for it will be in scripts/widgets und scripts/screens. Things that actually show recipes are crafting.lua and things that show ingredients are recipepopup.lua. You'd need to create a new widget and/or screen using elements from both files (maybe some more)A good base for a new screen might be the bigpopupdialog which you can modify to include a numeric spinner (the thing that let's you click left and right to change the pages in the spelltome)This might all sound complicated, but the main thing here is that you need to try and stay focused while patching together different things ; )And of course, feel free to use any code from the Waverly mod if that should be of any help.
