"The hounds don't attack so soon after being defeated... Let's go check it out."

Newleaf walks towards the sound.

[Twinkie]

*Koalefant steps out of the brush once again, but then sees a piece of meat in the pot. It smells to him like

burning meat since he is a herbivore.*

<Well, I guess Senri or Uglycorn will want it.>

Koalefant then quietly pads over to the pot and takes the meat.

Arch finishes his beefalo meal. Arch abandons the carcass and sees the crock pot with  a little meat. His mouth waters. He takes it and eats. "More. Must have... MORE."

"Dogs scare me."

*Uglycorn follows Newleaf*

[Twinkie]

A man with a glorious beard is checking his traps.

"Only one bunny... *sigh*"

The man starts to return to his camp, when he sees Arch.

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING RUMMAGING THROUGH MY POT!"

[Twinkie]

Koalefant comes out of the brush surrounding Newleaf and Uglycorn.

"Hey Uglycorn, you want this meat?"

Koalefant waves the meat in front of him.

[Blewcheese]

Newleaf jerks to attention, looking in a seemingly random location.

"Theres a human in the forest. It's more important than the hound, we can catch up with it later if it's still around."

(I rhymed! Now give me a dime, so I can buy a lime. I do it all the time!)

 

A couple of treegaurds approach the bearded man, speaking in their monotone voice.

"Who goes there?"

[Ellebelly24]

"Human?"

*Ugly starts running in the mans direction barking cheerfully*

"New owner!"

[Twinkie]

The man suddenly jumped back at the sight of the Treeguards surrounding him.

"Um-I'm just a h-hunter here. I was checking a trap I had made. I try to find d-dead wood for my supplies mostly."

Around him lay a few picked berry bushes and a few chests.

[Twinkie]

The man stepped back when he saw Uglycorn.

"What is that?" he muttered to himself.

"Who are you?" he asked Uglycorn.

[Ellebelly24]

"OWNER!!"

*Uglycorn pounces on the man, hugging him and wagging her tail violently*

"You are my new owner sir! Yay! Humans!"

[Blewcheese]

Newleaf scowls at the human.

"We do not accept your kind here, especially not your actions. Take your civilization somewhere else."

[Twinkie]

(Is Uglycorn in human form?)

[Ellebelly24]

(Yeah)

"Don't say that about, uh... Um... What's ya name owner?"

[Twinkie]

"Well, okay. Since you know this land so well (not in that disrespectful tone) could you suggest how far I should go?"

"Peter. Yours?"

*Ugly hugs the man like, "He's mine!"*

"I'm Uglycorn! Peter, you're my new owner! We should celebrate!"

Newleaf sighs, looking at the Uglycorn and Peter.

"I..."

Another treeguard walks towards Newleaf calmly, and in his same monotone voice, he says:

"Another fire, sir."

Arch watches this. He steals the crockpot and the coal under it and holds it with his mouth, then runs off to try and make food. But to make better food, he has to hunt something down and that group is a non-option. He sees a rabbit. "Good enough." A rabbit's screech is heard.

*Ugly lets go of Peter and wags her tail. She starts barking happily*

"We should play fetch!"

(Does Peter have Chester?)

[Twinkie]

"What is going on.." he muttered to himself.

(Yes)

"Well...okay."

Peter grabbed a stick from a chest, and tossed it over a bush nearby.

"Hey, where did my pot go?"

[Ellebelly24]

*Uglycorn turns back into her normal form and goes to fetch the stick*

[Blewcheese]

Newleaf faces the human with alert.

"Human! Peter! Get out of the forest, there's a forest fire."

Newleaf runs in the direction the other treeguard pointed him in, and there's large stacks of smoke billowing into the air.

[Twinkie]

"Oh-"

"UGLYCORN! GET OUT OF THERE!"

Peter runs in the direction Newleaf is running.
