Glucose
I recently downloaded the 'Always on status" mod, but I can't get it to work. I unzipped the mod into the MyDocuments/DontStarve/mod folder, yet nothing else appears in-game under the mods tab, besides the 4 default. I can't get the screecher mod to work either- click scary picture, restart game, repeat T_T I originally downloaded Don't Starve from Chrome and downloaded the stand-alone version. Solution plz? Nycidian
Mods actually go into Don't Stave install location as opposed to your Don't Starve documents folder. It should be somewhere under Program Files if you're on Windows standalone. The easiest way to find where these files are located is to right click on the short cut to the game and to open file location this will take you to the dont_starve/bin folder which is very near the dont_starve/mod folder.
