horatio_svetlana
One thing I've thought about Don't Starve is it has a similarity to the Jumanji cartoon. Yes, there was a cartoon, and it was awesome.Sent to a similar but not quite right wilderness murder world. That's something I really like about it.The Boogeyman that kills you in the dark has a fear to it that I would get from some of the THINGS in Jumanji. Course these two things are actually quite different in purpose, in Jumanji the plot was about solving the game's puzzles set in Darkest Africa to the Nth degree. Don't Starve is just trying to survive.Just love how they both have a logic to them that twists things to serve a purpose, like being able to invent a meat effigy for resurrection, or in Jumanji the myth of the great white hunter being an immortal spirit who's role was to hunt the player of the game.If you haven't seen the cartoon, you can find it on netflix, amazon, and itunes. I highly suggest it if you want to see what I mean about similar style to Don't Starve. I also suggest it since it's great.
