Unsound Mind
I just thought I would put together a few songs that I frequently listen to that remind me of Don't Starve. A few of these songs have references to specific characters or instances, but most of them are just generic doodads that are fun to play whenever you play the game. These are in no way organized, and none of them are even by the same artist. All the songs are on Grooveshark because it's an awesome site like that. All of them, that is, except one. http://grooveshark.com/#!/playlist/A+Disorderly+Playlist/91370924 1. Secret - The PiercesWendy and Abigail's song. if this doesn't fit them, I don't know what will. Plus, the style has that creepy Don't Starve feel to it. 2. Like a Song - LenkaTotally Charlie's song. It's rather heartbreaking, and also creepy. For some reason I picture Charlie as the grue with this one, and this is her grieving song. 3. Young and Beautiful - Bryan Ferry OrchestraA song that sounds like it's from the 1920's, and reminds me of "Ragtime". This is undeniably fun to listen to whilst playing. You can listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epV-btS6FzI 4. Safe and Sound - Capital CitiesDespite it being more of a mainstream song, I thought it fit surprisingly well with Charlie and Maxwell. This makes me think of the good old times when they were performing together, when they thought nothing could go wrong. 5. Chambermaid Swing - Parov StelarBecause electro swing is awesome, and because the main instrument in this is a muted trumpet. Yay Wilson! 6. In our Talons - BowerbirdsThis song was used in someone else's playlist a while ago, but I can't remember exactly who. If this was yours, please step forward! I can't help but post it again. It fits the wilderness mood of the game well. 7. Safe and Sound - Taylor SwiftI'm not a fan of Taylor Swift, but this song is actually pretty fitting. It fits the whole mood of desperation and survival, and is certainly a more serious song. I guess that shouldn't be surprising, considering it's also on the soundtrack for "The Hunger Games". 8. Yellow Light - Of Monsters and MenThis is the sound of someone going insane. I swear it. Your sanity will go down the drain if you listen to the whole thing. If this is a huge repeat, I apologize. At least someone other than me thought they were fitting. 3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/28702-a-disorderly-playlist/ Share on other sites
Sarcosuchus
Secret is a pretty darn good match for Wendy and Abigail, but...that Lenka one is just*whistles* (I must also take this opportunity to roar my approval over electroswing and Parov Stelar and the fact that I never realized that it was muted trumpet and therefore totally Wilson.)
