DirtyDan
When I posted my mod to the workshop, it downloads when you subscribe to it, but it doesnt show up at all in mods section, I've even tested this myself, and it doesnt even make a folder in the mods. Developer Brook Posted September 18, 2013 Developer Share Posted September 18, 2013 sure, here you go, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=179187857&searchtext= There appears to be an issue with your data file, as Steam's servers are reporting an error when attempting to download it, both through the game and through the administrative interface. I'm not sure off hand why this might be the case. Can you try updating your mod data file with the mod uploader, and then post the log file? You should be able to find the log here: C:\Users\<your windows user name>\AppData\Local\Don't Starve Mod Uploader\ModUploader.log (this location changed today with the release of the new Mod Tools update) This log file is overwritten every time your run the ModUploader, so after you try updating your mod's data files, close Mod Uploader and don't run it again until you've posted your log from the last run. Hopefully the log file will shed some light on the issue. Here you go. According to the log, the update completed successfully, and yet Steam is still reporting an error when attempting to access the mod. This appears to be an issue on Steam's end of things. I'll ask them and see if they have any insight into why this might be occurring. We've observed that sometimes weird things just happen with Steam's content system. If you're in a hurry and want to see if you can work around the issue yourself, you could try re-uploading the mod as a completely new Mod. If that works, then great! If not you can just delete the duplicate. I've contacted Steam and they are looking into it, I'll let you know when I have any further information to share. @DirtyDan I received this reply from Steam: We've had some issues over the last couple days with some files getting corrupted on upload. It shouldn't be happening anymore right now, but if this is the same issue it should work if the re-upload it again. So... give it another try when you get a chance?
