she is in watr thogh stupd huhuhuh

Jakob soon has completed a complete cage made out of his fiery metal.

(She is in shadow mucky crap. Get it right!)

*snowfall closes her eyes and tries to invision the first snow fall she ever saw. Just so she could have one happy memory before she dissapears forever*

Shard growls, trying to break her front paws free. She gestures into the river with her nose. "They're down there," she hisses.

Suddenly, she spins around, snapping her paws free. She is surrounded by a blazing ball of fire, and in the same fluid motion, she leaps into the shadows, still surrounded by fire.

(She is in shadow mucky crap. Get it right!)

"Snowfall! Joseph!"

Will rummages through his bag, and pulls out a length of rope.

"Damn it all, Joseph! Why did you have to fall unconscious?!?"

Will throws an end of the rope to Snowfall after tying it to a nearby tree stump.

"Grab on! I'm going in after Joseph!"

Will dives into the water shadow mucky crap, and grabs Joseph's left wrist. The hands start targeting him, as well.

"Focus on staying calm... don't go into shock from the water... you've got this."

Will slowly inches toward the bank with Joseph, but is separated by 3 shadow hands. Six surround him, and begin pushing him under while many others work their way down his throat.

However, whenever Snowfall thinks of the memory, something is different. At first, the snow is replaced by rain. Then a wisp of darkness. Then Snowfall herself is replaced by Sundrop. And around her the corpses of her friends can be seen. Her wrecked high school in the background. Every time she thinks of a memory, it takes a turn for the worse.

The river almost embraces Shard, and as she dives into the water the fire slowly begins to be put out, as if by water. However, shadow hands can be seen trying to break their way into her firey shield.

(Erm, Will, I think you're a bit late with that one, or at least the context doesn't make a tremendous amount of sense.)

many others work their way down his throat.

(*Shudders*)

The shadow hands grab at Will's arms, legs, whatever they can get their hands on. They also go at Joseph's emerging arm, and the rope. The rope slowly begins to show signs of snapping, while the river's tide grows larger and larger in an attempt to swallow Will.

At this burst of light, the shadows are pushed back tremendously. However, their attempts continue and Shard's wings wane slowly but surely.

The blinding flash expels nearly all the shadows, but it only takes a moment before more rush in. However, the light weakened the shadow hands combating Will, some of them disintegrating, other's loosening their grips.

(What do you think this is, pity land? Full of pity? Pffff. Actually, it's fine, thanks to Super Shard with her Superty Duperty light of lighteyness.)

Shadows flow into Snowfall's dream for only a moment, but the blinding light seeps into her subconsciousness, purging all the shadows and in fact, making her dreams better. The colors become more vibrant, and Snowfall's friends appear beside her, having a good time.

Shard's onslaught of light keeps the shadows at bay for moments at a time, but in the end they are relentless and do not stop. The flashes grow dimmer and dimmer each time, and although the darkness is kept at bay, it seems that they are waiting for one sign of weakness to swoop in and stop the light.

(Ah... *makes mental connection* I see...)

In response, Jakob gets nothing but white noise and the same whispers Joseph had been hearing, that of Shadows, Death, and Darkness.

Without the light, it is not long before the shadows flood the submerged victims, tainting Snowfall's dreams. Her friends die before her, and when she looks at herself she only sees the image of Sundrop. The shadow hands grip onto Shard, pulling her closer to the bottom, and the shadow hands on the surface get a good hold on Will's leg, and they begin dragging him into the river.

The shadows don't hesitate to grab Jakob as well. They reach for him, grabbing at his feet, arms, anything. To accompany this, the tide rises once more, splashing the goop around. And wherever the goop touches, another few shadow hands emerge. It's not long before Jakob is surrounded.
