Will's eyes open slowly as he grasps Jakob's hand.

"One of Them just talked to me. He locked me in my head, or something. It left my body a hollow shell. It was saying that we shouldn't release Shadowfall, as It's destructive power was worse than Their's. I think we should ignore the warning."

Azcar scoffs.

"If there's anyone who hates Shadowfall, it's Them.  They trapped him, created this place just to keep him captive, and they were repaid by being forced to be his warden for eternity.  They want to see him suffer till time ends.  But we don't have that kind of time.  Shadowfall will escape very, very soon, unless we don't stop him!"

Azcar lowers himself down the rope.

The group reaches the bottom of the shaft.  The only light comes from the shaft above; all else is pitch black, in all directions.  Instead of rock, the floors appear to be constructed from carved marble, with blood-red gems built in to the pattern.  Before the group can even take a step, a screeching blast of pain shoots through their heads.

So, a group of little flies wander into a spider's nest.  Completely unaware of their deathly fate.

You're in my web now, mortals.  No more turning back.

A sticky-looking black substance stretches across the tunnel entrance, plunging the group into darkness.  Suddenly, the red gems begin to let out a dim glow, illuminating the cavern.  Huge collumns, intricately carved, climb up to an unseen ceiling.  Crevices have opened in the floor, disrupting the pattern.  Statues and strange boxes dot the cavern, along with ruined buildings, courtyards, and fountains.
