Shadowfall

[Battal]

The Mother shrieks in agony, and throws the group off her.  The tentacles are damaged, but not much, due to their sheer size.  "Whyyyyyyyyy!  Aeeiiiieeeeee!"

[Blewcheese]

Pops stands up, astonished.

"My, sincerest apologies! We noticed a small blemish, so my friend here, as he is an expert in removing blemishes, attempted to do away with it. I assure you, the blemish is gone."

[Battal]

"LIARSSSSSSS!  LIARSSSSSS AND MURDERERSSSSSS!  YOU ARE BAD PRESSSSENTSSSSS!"

 

The Mother prepares to attack..

[Blewcheese]

(Dang. She actually has a brain. Plan, how could you do this to me? I trusted you...)

"Go! Run! Now!"

Pops turns and begins running, but the cage fall from earlier forces him into a limp.

[Battal]

"YOU ARE NOT LEAVING!"

 

The Mother's millepede slices through the wall above the crack in the wall, causing a massive pile of stone to block the split rock.

[Blewcheese]

Pops swears. He picks up a sharp bit of rubble and throws it at The Mother's large eye.

[Battal]

The rock bounces night-harmlessly off the Mother's eye.  It appears a thick, transparent membrane covers it.

[Blewcheese]

Pops steps forward.

"What do you plan to do now, then?"

He stays on his toes as to hopefully be able to dive out of an attack.

[Battal]

The Mother hisses.  "I'm going to tear you apart!"

 

The millepede lashes out at a rapid speed.

[Blewcheese]

Pops does a dive roll to the side, getting knocked on the foot. His dive is disrupted, and he falls to the ground. He swiftly gets up, however. Joseph watches.

[Battal]

Seconds after Pops rises, the millepede lashes out again.  In addition to this, large purple tentacles burst out of the ground.

[Blewcheese]

Pops is struck to the side, being flung into the tentacle. He groans, attempting to get out of range of the tentacle before it tries to pick him up.

[Battal]

Pops manages to dodge the tentacle, only to be hit in the chest by the millipede.  It knocks him over, then crawls onto him and attacks with a hideous, foaming mouth full of pincers and other sharp bits.  Meanwhile, one of the tentacles slithers towards Joseph.

[Percival]

"Hey! Over here!"

 

Fabrico runs towards the Mother and tries to throw the cane at her eye, like a javelin.

[Battal]

The Mother turns towards Fabrico, eyes burning in hatred.  Tentacles burst out of the ground, and attack him.

[Will]

Violet attempts to hobble away from The Mother, but is grabbed by one of the smaller tentacles. It begins to drag her toward The Mother.

"F**K! Why does everything love grabbing me today!?"

Violet attempts to zap the tentacle, but she had used all of her static electricity on the tentacles earlier. She was defenseless. Just as Violet was about to reach The Mother, the tentacle dragging her was cut in half. Standing in between Violet and The Mother... was Dark Will.

"Missed me?"

In Dark Will's hands was Satoshi's katana, which was stained with the purple blood of the tentacle. He sheathed his blade, and lifted Violet onto his back.

"Come along, little lady. Let me bring you to safety."

Violet was torn on whether to feel gratitude or to be pissed off.

(A little explanation on the lore of how Dark Will is here: Whenever Dark Will is defeated outside of Will's body, he is returned to Will only if Will was alive. Remember, when Dark Will was smashed, he was Will with monster serum on. Will was alive, and so, Dark Will was inside him, but unable to see what was going on. When Will became temporarily dead, thanks to Shadowfall, Dark Will escaped into the soul trap to help everyone out.)

[Battal]

The Mother screams in agony.  The millepede leaves Pops and attacks Dark Will, attacking with blinding speed.  Meanwhile, the tentacle writhes around, still searching for Violet's blood.

[Will]

Dark Will darts out of the way of the tentacles, and places Violet in the farthest place away possible from The Mother.

"Alright, you lot. Let's get this over with."

Dark Will leaps into the air, with many of the tentacles following. He slashes as fast as he can, and multiple severed tentacle heads fall to the floor. Dark Will misses one behind him, and is smacked right into the eye of The Mother.

"Well, I will say you aren't quite the ugliest thing I've ever seen. More like a close second."

Dark Will plunges the katana into The Mother's eye.

(Good night.)

[Battal]

The katana sinks deep into the Mother's eye, and the creature screeches.  With a disgusting slurping sound and the snapping of membrane, the eye opens up in a hideous maw. 

 

(Yup.  Her eye is an eyeplant.)

[Blewcheese]

Pops slowly stands, but he has a few wounds. He keeps a fair distance, watching the scene. Now he tries to make out what is inside the eye.

[Battal]

Due to the group's drop, they are quite some distance from the Vortex.  Even so, the Mother's massive size makes it impossible to freeze her full form.

Trent punches the mother, doing little harm.

[Battal]

The Mother punches Trent into the wall, then pulls back over the chasm.  It then tries to throw off Dark Will.

[Blewcheese]

Pops pants heavily and grips his wound. His bold begins swirling around his arm until shooting off at The Mother. As it makes contact, it slowly begins spreading along the beast's skin.

[Battal]

The Mother is too preoccupied with Dark Will to care about the blood.
