Shadowfall

[Blewcheese]

As the blood spread, however, it begins to numb The Mother's body. The areas that the blood spreads over goes limp.

[Battal]

The Mother screeches at Pops in anger.  It opens it's eye/mouth, and vomits a foul liquid in his direction.  It then resumes fighting Dark Will.

[Blewcheese]

Pops had been too preoccupied trying to keep the blood consistent, so when he tried to dodge the liquid landed squarely on his left arm and leg.

[Will]

"Bloody hell, you just don't know when to give up, do you?"

Dark Will begins to hack away at the tentacles with his katana like a lumberjack.

"Let's see you *pant* kill us again when you're in an abyss, you wanker!"
 

[Battal]

Pop's arm and leg are immediately consumed in agonizing pain.  The liquid seems to be an acid of some sort, and already is burning away his skin.  The Mother grabs Will with her millepede, then brings him before her eye.  She opens her gaping maw and prepares to blast acid all over Dark Will's face.

[Will]

Great, I was hoping to not have to do this until we fought the warden, but, I don't want to lose my face today.

Dark Will's skin begins to rapidly fall off, revealing what looked like pure darkness underneath. His body structure began to shift to that of a feral monster. This unexpected change led The Mother to drop Dark Will, who landed all on fours. It sprinted away from The Mother, but came right back with a leap. It landed on one of its tentacles, and began to scratch, bite, and stab in a flurry of black and purple.

[Percival]

(I'll just assume that the tentacles attacking Fabrico started attacking Will before turning into calamari. Because my internet is acting up.)

 

Fabrico, useless without his cane, proceeds to sift through some of the smaller rocks, throwing larger ones at the Mother.

[Blewcheese]

Pops falls to the side, groaning. The spread of blood slows dramatically while Pops tries to not die.

[_-_-_]

Trent repeatedly smacks the mother in her weak spot over and over.

"Die!"

[Battal]

The Mother throw Feral Will into the wall, then grabs ahold of him with her millepede and smashes him around the room like a rag doll.  Meanwhile, smaller tentacles assault the rest of the group.

[Percival]

"Stop it, STOP IT WITH THE TENTACLES!"

 

Fabrico grabs a sharpened rock and slashes around madly, trying to cut the tentacles in some way.

[Blewcheese]

Blood flows out of Pops's wounds and onto the tentacles. The blood quickly covers the attackers and hardens, making them look like blood statues.

[_-_-_]

Trent cracks one of his bones in half, and uses them the slash at the tentacles, leaving major wounds upon some of them.

"Wanker! WANKER!"

[Battal]

No matter how many tentacles the group kills, more simply take their place.

[Percival]

(Hey Battal, do you allow High Knowledge Setite Rituals?)

 

Fabrico, irritated and mad, simply runs at the Mother, trying to barrage her eye with irate stabs and jabs with the rock.

[Blewcheese]

However, the more tentacles that Pops's blood solidifies, the more powerful his blood magic becomes. The statues slowly straighten up, and become more pillar like, resembling spires. Bloodstone Spires. They were the source of Pops's and Joseph's blood power. They each had one of their own on earth. Pops began transforming the solidified tentacles into miniature bloodstone spires of his own, increasing his power further. The blood on The Mother continued to spread at a faster pace now.

 

Joseph, whose mind had recovered slightly, decided that he didn't want to die to tentacles. He flung sharp flints at the tentacles around him at a high velocity using his telekinesis.

[Battal]

The Mother seems almost defeated, with half her body limp and the other half slowed in time.  That is, until Shadowfall speaks.  

"​Hmm.  You're putting up quite a better fight than I expected from a group of powerless mortals.  Here, let me give you some help, my loyal servant."

 

To the group's horror, two Forgotten appear in the chamber with them.  One is unmistakably Jakob, while the other is unknown.  Jakob immediately sends waves of fire at the Mother.

[Blewcheese]

(At The Mother? What...)

Pops grunts and watches the Forgotten. As he was nearer to the non-Jakob Forgotten, Pops decides to send a slow moving stream of blood that traveled along the ground at that one.

[_-_-_]

"Gah! More stupid antagonists!"

Trent tosses a rock at the forgotten.

[Battal]

Jakob's fire burns away the blood covering the Mother, and also destroys the Blood Spires.  The other Forgotten attacks Feral Will, warping into an exact copy of him.

[Will]

Dark Will tries to attack the Forgotten, but it counters every single one of his moves. He leaps backwards, and transforms back into his normal form.

"Damn, if only Jakob were here! He'd have a field day with this fire guy!"
(Remember, Dark Will doesn't know what happened to Jakob yet.)
 

[Blewcheese]

Pops grunts in pain as his power evaporates quickly. He fights for consciousness, and his skin has turned very pale. He doesn't seem to hear Dark Will's words. Joseph watches everything with his blank eyes.

[Battal]

The Forgotten instantly takes Will's human shape, then laughs coldly at his comment.  He then attacks with blinding speed.

[Will]

(Making an unofficial Shadowfal soundtrack. Starting with the themes of the characters. This will be what I thought fit at the time of reading/writing, and will be composed of songs from video games. Just a forewarning.)

[Percival]

(Oh, god. Just one note - Fabrico means to sculpt, to create, to fabricate. At least in Latin. Mostly because Thaumaturgy.)
