The Citadel's walls are like a mountain of carved basalt, imposing and magnificent at the same time. The structure rises miles into the sky, tapering to a point at the top. But even with that, it should be impossible according to the laws of physics. But there it stands. The top of the Citadel is literally inside of the Vortex. The group guesses that the chains anchor the structure from being sucked into it.
