Shadowfall

Self terminate.

The order had come in very clearly from Shadowfall. And yet, why was the masked man having trouble following orders? It would look over a cliff, but find itself unable to throw itself down. It could bare to stab itself, or shoot itself with its gun. It was regaining its sense of self preservation. It had yet to regain its conscious, or sense of self, or any semblance of intelligence besides for what was already in its system. But it was resisting. What would happen if Shadowfall found out? Of course, the man could not ask these questions. It knew only one thing now. To run. It ran through the forest, after nothing. It was just moving to move.

(The group is making their way through a dungeon.)

Following the tunnel, the group begins to smell things that are very familiar.  Flowers.  Trees.  Fresh air.  Things they have not smelled anywhere within the Soul Trap.

[Blewcheese]

Joseph sighs with relief, but Pops remains on guard.

[Battal]

Turning a corner, the group enters a cavern unlike anything they have ever seen.The place is massive; the walls of the cave are barely in sight, and the ceiling is smothered in mist, like clouds.  Sunlight streams in through these clouds, bathing the cavern in light.  The cave's contents are an entire world, looking exactly like the one outside of the Soul Trap.  Looking exactly like the place the group met.

Judging by this image, I'm going to assume saving Jakob is not an option anymore.

(Remember, the group is dead.  They are separated from their bodies.  That's Jakob's soul.)

(oh... So... does that mean he's going to be a Forgotten when we get back? Because his soul is all screwy and messed up and stuff? Dang. I sure hope not.)

Joseph smiles.
"Hey, this place looks familiar."

He takes in the scenery, while Pops surveys the area.

(taking in the scenery and surveying the area are two completely different things. yes.)

(Alright, well, I intended this to be a part where you survive.  Don't Starve style.  Go.)

(In other roleplays, the normal DS scenes become the intense ones. In this one, the intense ones become the normal DS scenes. How about that?)

Joseph looks around.

"This place is huuuge!"

Pops nods.

(Oh well. I never wanted this to be like other roleplays, anyways.)

Violet takes a look around, and sighs. 

"I thought I was done with this crap. Now I'm doing it again? Guess I'd better try not to kill myself again..."

The group explores the cavern.  The ground is dotted with flowers, grass, and the occasional stone.  The grassland turns into forest some ways away.

[Blewcheese]

Pops looks around.

"We'd better just keep heading forward. This seems to be a replica of the outside world... Hopefully The Grue doesn't show her face."

(Whelp, looks like the survival thing isn't gonna work out too well.  Okay, back to adventure!)

 

The group can faintly see what looks like an exit on the far side of the cavern.  Seeing no other option, they begin making their way to the door.
