The group miraculously lands on separate platforms.  Kyle, however, has a very hard fall.  He tumbles clear over the scaffold's side, and only barely manages to grab onto the edge with one hand.  In the other hand, he holds the cane.

*Star somehow gently lands on her feet, as Snow crashes into the ridge of Star's platform, head first*

(Ouch...)

(What happened to Sundrop?)

Joseph lands on a far platform, trying not to fall off. Pops breaks his fall with his arms.

(We left Sundrop way far back. I'd say she's as good as dead.)

"I would, but Snow had to break her fall with her head. Brilliant."

[Percival]

(Introduction. Perfect.)

 

A hand emerges from the darkness, grabbbing Kyle's wrist and hoisting him up. A voice hisses "Give it back!"

[Percival]

Kyle's mysterious rescuer grabs the cane and forces it out of his hands, but cries out a small curse.. It's now bright enough to see, but his figure looks familiar.

Green Hair, black clothes, brown cloack, and red tie...thing.

(Aww... Poor Sundrop. But I wouldn't put it past her to show up again.)

Pops shouts to the group.

"Keep running! Let's go!"

[Ellebelly24]

(Dude. It's Sundrop. Seriously. What's wrong with you?)

*Star grabs Snow's wrist and starts running as fast as she can*

[Percival]

The man scowls at Kyle.

 

"Not my problem, now is it?"

 

Despite this statement, he hoists him onto the closest scaffolding. He runs onto one himself.

[Will]

The group turns to see Violet already multiple platforms ahead of them.

"Come on, slowpokes! Hurry up!"

[Blewcheese]

(Kinda tired. Don't mind me if I say anything stupid.)

Pops and Joseph continue running, leaping closer to the group wherever possible.

*Star follows behind with Snow flailing around behind her*

[Battal]

The Forgotten continues to hurl fireballs at the group.  Ahead, the group can see a doorway into a stone building.

[Percival]

"Get out of the way, boy!"

 

The man shoves Kyle, almost toppling him over, and runs ahead to the doorway, cursing with each step.

Pops and Joseph continue running, now on the same platform.

[Percival]

(Excuse me, but I DID say that he is a jack@ss.)

 

The man ignores him and hops between each scaffold. He appears to be suppressing pain.

[Will]

As the man catches up with Violet, she turns to him and unleashes an overhead punch. He is slightly shocked (literally, not metaphorically. As in electricity.).

"No one shoves my peeps!"

Pops shouts at them.

"Stop that! We have more important matters!"

"STOP FIGHTING!"

"Ooh, look at the fireballs! They're like fireworks!"

[Percival]

(Ouch. That must hurt.)

 

The man falls over and lands on a nearby scaffold, twitching slightly, but quickly gets up and continue running.

 

"You [censored].." he says under his breath, quietly enough so that Violet couldn't hear.

"Oh, look! That firework wants to be our friend!"

"Wait, what?!"

*With that, a fireball barely misses the girls and send the hurdling towards the others*

(Hello...)

The fireball hits the scaffolding behind Pops and Joseph, peppering them with splinters. A particularly large one lodges itself into Joseph's shoulder. He stumbles to a halt, gripping the wound.

"Gah!"

[Blewcheese]

"Fine. I'm fine."

Joseph touches the wooden stake.

"Keep it in or pull it out? What do I do?"

Pops shakes his head.

"Just run!"
