"Wait, so, I'm really confused right now. You're evil, but you're gonna help us anyway? How does that work?"

The little girl looked at Snow with a hurt expression. Quietly, carefully, she turned around and asked "H-...How am I evil?" and she sniffed loudly, tears welling up in her eyes. She runs her torn and ragged sleeve across her nose and continued with "From what I've seen already, y-you've threatened to kill that boy just for asking where he was. To be honest, you look more evil than I do." and she stepped back, fearfully. Another furtive glance at Viti-Mortos; she's still waiting for an answer. Her stomach grumbled and she placed a thin bony hand over the ruins of her clothes.

And then Will spoke up.

"Well, demons have a common phrase they use, 'leveraging their assets'. It's when the side they were previously on, whether good, evil, or neutral, is no longer helping them and that they are saying they will help you because it helps them as well. Dark Will loved to say that was the reason he helped us, but I know that wasn't it."

"That sounds nasty," murmured the little girl. She looks around uncertainly, torn between staying and fleeing. Another glance at the shade. "If you're going to be rude, I-...I'll just keep you here, then. Monsters stay in dark and nasty places all of the time, you can join Them in here. You can keep this boy company." She said, waving an arm at the puzzled Walrus-boy. For the third time, she glanced over at Viti-Mortos and hovered near the edge of the torchlight uncertainly, worriedly, as if she wasn't too sure what to do. She looks helpless.

"I assure you, I had no intention of calling you a demon. If it sounded like I did, I apologize on the part of myself and Snowfall. Speaking of which..."

Will turns to Snowfall.

"What's going on? You're acting really weird all of a sudden. In fact, I'd say your acting a lot like Sundrop."

(Only a short one today...Viti didn't reply to the question, so I'm lost in terms of what to post. Shouldn't we get out of here soon?)

The girl, who had watched the entire incident with snowdrop, just stared for a little while and let lose a giggle, finding something funny. Then she looked over the group with the same disinterest in them as it was for the boy, and turned to walk away.

The result, of course, wasn't entirely positive - without the girl the group had only one option - to go forward. But which way was forward? Hadn't they all shifted to see the boy? Did any of them think to leave an arrow or something similar?

The sounds of cloth on stone start to whisper through the pass.

The group walks forwards, Viti-Mortos on guard and Jakob extremely nervous.  Turning a corner, a faint glimmer of strong daylight can be seen up ahead.

"I'll be happy to get out of this place."  Jakob says, looking around with his flashlight.  "I hope you're not some shade spy, Walman."
