Quick as a flash, left hand held to shield her eyes, the little girl steps quietly into the sphere of light. Oddly enough, while the blood is still on her clothes, all signs of the ragged gash in her hand have disappeared. She winces at the bright light and looks over at Viti-Mortos with a look of puzzled curiosity, then in a clear, soft, English accent she whispers "Follow me."

Then she disappears into the shadows once more but doesn't leave without a single trace of her existence - in fact, she does the opposite, for her shadow somehow seems to stretch out into the light and is easy to follow despite the distinct lack of light sources to make such a shadow. For those that do follow her, the quiet voice of what appears to be another child can be heard echoing across the rocky pass.

The little girl leads the group towards another hunched form, staring down at it in a look of distaste. Clearly, the hunched form is of a young boy but the little girl does look younger than him. Around him are the burnt remains of goodness knows how many fires, and bones - animal bones - that have either been picked clean or have cooked meat still stuck to them, along with some discarded, shriveled up berries on the stony floor. The boy seems to be stabbing the knife rhythmically into the rock, and whispering something.

The little girl doesn't wait to see what they're going to do with him. She doesn't really give him a second glance - as if some sort of higher purpose was achieved, the girl walks off and the last thing people would see is her jet black hair catching the light before that, too, is swallowed up by the darkness permeating the mountain pass.

"Kid, why are you stabbing a rock with a knife? We aren't deep enough for there to be rock lobsters, you know."

Will begins to walk over to the boy when he falls flat on his face.

"Damn it, I must have tripped on something..."

Will looks to the floor to see a lump of rock on the floor. He moves it into the light. Will's face becomes pale.

"Guys, you might want to look at this..."

In the light, it is revealed the rock is a lump of iron ore.

"Who knows. Every day has been a living hell. And unless you want to die, prove to me you aren't going to kill us."

"Who knows. Every day has been a living hell. And unless you want to die, prove to me you aren't going to kill us."

"Fine" WalrusMan drops the knife and steps back 3 steps.

Jakob grabs Walrus by the shoulder, shoving him into the side of the pass.  Holding one of his daggers to his throat, Jakob pins him to the wall.

"You let your guard down so easy!  Some crazy girl just lead us to this guy, and you instantly trust him?!?!?!  What if it's a trap?"

Jakob shouts into the darkness.

"Stay back, or I slit your accomplice's throat!"
