<Oh god... everything's going dark... I've got no choice... even if it breaks...>

Will draws his dagger, and stabs it into the pool. The green gem fills nearly instantly. He presses the gem, and it releases a radiant green light. The sludge forms a sort of upward whirlpool around the dagger, as it is absorbed. The hands draw back in fear of being taken as well. Using this opportunity, Will grabs Joseph, and begins swimming to the bank. Right as he is nearing the ground, the gem shatters, halting the daggers absorbing power. The hands quickly dash over to them.

<Damn it all, it broke too soon! I have to throw him onto shore, he's unconscious. I'll have a better chance than him.>

Will pushes Joseph onto the shore, but before he can climb up, the hands reach him. Will shortly thrashes about as he tries to fruitlessly fight off the hands, but the quickly drag him down into the murky waters. He can no longer be heard, seen, or sensed.

(No, I'm not dead. Not that you'd all assume that. This is just me making an excuse to be away for a short while, as well as preparing a future plot devise. Ta-ta!)

Little did everyone else know, that at the bottom of the water, was Will, being dragged deeper, and deeper by the shadow hands into the unknown. After a long time had passed, Will was dragged under the mixture of mud and sand, and he fell onto a hard brick floor. A figure draped in black picked up his legs, and dragged him over to a corner of the room. It would only be when he regained consiousness would he realize he was laying next to Snowfall and Satoshi's dead, lifeless bodies...

Will awakens, feeling as if someone was questioning his intelligence.

"Ha-ha, I try to save you so I'm not very smart. Very-"

It was at that moment that Will realized he was alone. He looked to his side to see the corpses of Satoshi and Snowfall.

"What the ****!? Snowfall's body!? And... that must be... Satoshi, I think? Is this a corpse collection? And if so, why am I down here? I'm not dead!"

Standing up, Will looks around, and finds no exit. There is no way in or out.

"How did I even get in here? There's no door, or anything..."

Will wanders around the room, looking for any details. Nothing. Just a brick floor, dirt walls, and two corpses.

"Any of you know of a way out? 'Yeah, Will. I'm a ghost, so of course I can do it.' Oh, Snowfall. You are too cruel."

There was a moment of silence.

"Did I really just do that?"
