Breathing heavily, blood dripping freely from numerous wounds, Jakob stood upon a stone pedestal as the monsters swarmed around him. They climbed upon the corpses of their dead, reaching up for him with grasping fingers. The more he killed, the more stumbled in to take their place. <I am not dying here! There is too much I still must do!> ---------------------------------------------------------- Shard and Joseph continue through the cave's tunnels. Despite the danger, they can not ignore the marvels the cave has to offer; gigantic rock spires shooting up to the high roof, glowing lichens of all colors, and small ponds under the surface of which swim flourescent fish. Eventually, then finally come across a large, yet ruined stone building. Lights burn inside.
