Auto-Grids for planting Berrys, Twigs, Grass, Trees

I wanna bump this post because I agree with it. not only for for planting, but also for building my base. I like to put my science/alchemy machines, crockpots, and ice boxes around my fireplace and compact my base as much as possible. At the very least, Id like to see a circle on the ground showing the space that my newly built/planted item will take and also the circles of the currently planted/built items in the vicinity of the target. perhaps red circles showing the space where existing plants/structures take and a green circle for the item you want to place (this circle turns yellow when the space is invalid). There are times where I have set up what looks like way more than enough empty space to put an icebox and find out that there actually isnt enough space.
