since the year of the clockwork, kiting certain things just...feels differend, like more so moving away and then when i press and hold F, instead of my character just goin instandly towards the enemy, he just stands there for half a second before goin for the attack, pigs became way more difficult to fight because of that half a second standing still where it feels like i have to be frame perfect to be able to even hit them...i dont know how others feel

what character do you play with? WX-78 with an Axe and Spin-Cycle does have an odd animation lag thing when using F, but only sometimes. 

since the clockwork update it happend not because of anything else setting that i never touched

Here's the thing - no, you are not crazy. The knight, rook and bishop did change the behavior to fight, some changes more in our faces like the whole overhaul on bishop VFX, another more subtle. The knight slips thought the hits because of stagger resistance, that being a thing once Wanda was introduced, then when Walter for a skill tree, and the rooks are smarter to charge, stop midway when they miss the mark, attack speed raised due the same. It's more aggressive, less wonky. 

The pigs are a good visual on the stagger resistance nerf, same as tall birds. First hit does it, then they enter in a cool down of a couple seconds till it can be staggered again.

These changes has a while tho. Probably noticed because of the bishops, but you taking this much time to realize doesn't make it all too recent, just didn't paid attention to it till now.

i guess? i mean i guess i never noticed that my character just stands still after i press A to dodge the attack and then instandly press F only for my character instead of instandly goin for the attack just standing still it feels like for half a second

I think Klei’s updates are either adding stealth changes that they do not bother to mention in patch notes, OR there are some unforeseen bugs happening that have yet to be reported.

When year of the Cawnival event first started I could barely find 1-2 bird seeds walking around forever, but after a recentish update bird seeds seem to be spawning far more frequently. Maybe I’m delusional, or maybe these actually are stealth changes..

I can say that last night was the first time in my 13 year history with the franchise that I have EVER seen a tumbleweed roll off the edge of land and sink into water.. 

So yeah like I said: Bugs that haven’t been reported yet, OR stealth gameplay changes not mentioned in patch notes.

i would not rule out stealth changes i think that happend before

I understand now because this DID happened to me exactly when that specific update came out. But at one point this bug just disappeared. I don't know exactly what I did to fix it, but I vividly remember this happening to me.

It could've been this setting right here.
