Opinions on the gloombell?

I find it way too expensive and late game to be reliable. (Also the 15 day cooldown is dumb)

You could craft multiple gloombells to get around the cooldown but that's even more expensive

Yeah but Beefalos are also just that strong for negating some characters' downsides.
And 15 day is plenty shorter than babysitting/taming a new Beefalo and not to mention just a lot less fuss it takes to use it.

I’ve run into one or two times where it was extremely helpful, it’s definitely not a necessity but you don’t realize how impactful it can be until you run into a situation where it’s needed

It's a really nice item since beefalo taming is an incredibly tedious and time consuming process, and not having to do it a 2nd time if your beefalo does something stupid and kills itself is really nice. Outside of that it only causes manure to despawn, which from a survival standpoint is a bad thing, as it means less fuel for fire pits or healing for Wormwood. It's a decent item but not necessarily worth going out of your way for in a boss rush.

Its a good effort by klei to cut back on day rollbacks. Shame its kinda post game but its not nothing.
