A Zaptrocuter centric build for WX-78

I was messing around with Wx-78 skill tree, and I was interested in the Zaptrocuter bot, looks like most people just avoid using skill points on in. I find it hilarious, even more that your possess chassis can use it, but I don't know how to "build" around it, like Rangebooster circuits allows you to shoot from further away but, Is it additive to the Signal Booster? Give them more range do something if a possess chassis is using it? Any way to boost its damage? If I use a possess chassis to assist me on battle with the Zaptrocuter what should I give them? (Circuits, armor...)

2 speed (get in range faster of actually using the drone)and 3 range booster(helps them stay using the controller when target moves), Don't need to go to crazy on armor since they will most likely take less to no damage. I liked signal booster but late game ya don't need it if you opt out of rotomapper, so I run zap 2.

If there was a consistent way to recharge the drones that didn't require Winona or Wicker, they'd be much better. Unfortunately the best you can get is using a telelocator staff once near a lightning rod, which granted will recharge a zap drone to full dura, but this is kinda expensive and also drains a lot of sanity.

Purple Gems are pretty cheap if you have a Ruins Boulderbough farm (10+ trees) that drops a lot of gems though.

Coupled with Remote Transfer and Delivery Drones and Spin Circuit letting WX take no damage while chopping down Boulderboughs (Axe swings boulder bounce gives iframes/pushes WX away from even the wide boulder radius/Axepick swings just negates the damage frame from happening) getting large amount of gems in a timely manner seems actually reasonable.

Still, saying that. I've never actually used the Zap Drones that much since they really just come off as novelty most of the time.

You get the best scrap and semi best biodata duping.

Zap drone locks down organic bosses, example of annoying solo ones are dfly, bee queen, scrappywerepig, klaus or malbatros. It also has aoe so clump up bishop statues and get more recharge gems.

i wish you could make batteries that refuel chargable items like the Morning Star
