Unable to play live version of game since MAR 2026 patch, Please help!

Hello,
I have played the game for over 1700 hours, I love it! I have been unable to play the current live version of the game  since the MAR 2026 patch. I have attempted to troubleshoot as best I can, the steam community has tried to help me as well. I have reached out to the Klei directly, and I have tried to create a bug tracker, and I am still unable to get support to resolve the issue.

When I launch the game a window pops up, screen shot of the window attached, then the game closes, I do not get the option to do anything in-game as the game does not progress far enough to let me do that. I have done the following to troubleshoot the issue prior to reaching out: verified game files, uninstall/reinstall game, unsubscribe from all mods in steam workshop, delete mods folder on PC, delete found oxygen not included files on PC, shutdown/restart PC, clear steam download cache, update Nvidia graphics driver, Microsoft Cloud is disabled, Program allowed through firewalls, and reverted back to JAN 2026 update. I am able to play on the JAN 2026 one but unable to play on the most recent one. I am able to play other game that utilize Unity, but unable to with this game. I have also attached a screenshot of my PC specs.
Please assist. I greatly thank you for your time and assistance. I absolutely look forward to getting back in and trying the new water world!

Mischief Managed! 
Bios was out of date and preventing Microsoft updates from completing.
Bios updated, MS updated, now I can play the game.

Huh.  I don't run Windows, so I've never had that problem.  I generally only update my BIOS if there's an alert about a security issue with my specific BIOS.

That means once.  I updated  my BIOS once.  On a computer I don't even own anymore.

TIL that Windows will hold back updates if it doesn't like your BIOS version.
